AI is moving faster than the workforce can comfortably absorb. Roles are changing, hiring expectations are evolving, and tomorrow's strongest professionals will be the people who learn to work with AI early and intentionally.
IWIL Ignite created the Future of Work 2030 Series as a practical national response. Rather than a single webinar, the initiative moves people through a connected three-phase experience - first building awareness and career clarity, then developing hands-on AI skills with mentors, and finally bringing the community together around employers, educators, policymakers and real opportunity.
The series supports IWIL Ignite's wider commitment to develop 100,000 future skill leaders across Canada by 2030. That goal builds on more than 40,000 professionals trained, 300+ corporate leaders engaged and collaborations with major organisations across North America and Southeast Asia.

AI × Industry: Redefining the Future of Work
On April 17, 2026, IWIL Ignite hosted the first Future of Work session - a national virtual summit that brought senior voices together from technology, media, academia and the public sector to examine how AI is reshaping roles and what industry-ready talent now looks like.
The discussion included leaders from Meta, CBC, Collabware, TransLink, Kaseya, Ting Internet and Trinity Western University, alongside IWIL Ignite founder Deepa Sayal.
The momentum from that session flowed directly into IWIL Ignite's Canadian expansion and the public goal of developing 100,000 future skill leaders by 2030 - building on more than 40,000 professionals trained, 300+ corporate leaders engaged and 250+ startups incubated.
